As The Sharma family reached home, they were happy about the entire incident except for the part where Advait abruptly left the hall without any words and somewhere, Diya was not happy with his reaction.
She knows that He was not ready for a relationship right now. Even though he is perfect, he was still working on himself and trying to become a better person day by day.
Diya was strong, a mere comment or words are enough to break her but if Advait is included, Diya's rigidness scrambles and she feels weakened and lost.
Somewhere in her heart, She was happy that Shweta asked her hand for marriage and deep down she was also taken aback for a second but on top of that, She is happy.
Happy to have the love of her life as her life partner and more importantly, the thing she was dreaming of ever since she saw that Man was going to turn into a blissful reality and she was excited and frightened at the same time.
Because that's not how a relationship works, does it? A relationship includes the opinions of both the involved persons and their permission is equally needed. Diya was having second thoughts about his opinions, of course She cannot be happy in this marriage if He is not accepting it the way it is. But that was the least concern she had in her mind.
She was only thinking of his opinions, concerned about the way he took this entire in and also, the main important thing.
His happiness.
Diya doesn't care about herself and anything, Anything which makes him happy, She will do it in a blink, without thinking of the consequences. Diya is a badass, she keeps everything under her control and runs an empire, all by herself.
Being a Woman never stopped her and she is the reason behind the success of Sharma Enterprise. Diya and Advait took over their Fathers company at the same time and both have been copying with each other for the last 5 years. Both were comfortable with each other's silence and Diya never, ever tried to start a conversation with him if that doesn't include work or business.
Here in The Sharma house, Rohan was frustrated with the way Advait reacted to the whole situation. Advait didn't even spare him a single second as if Rohan is Mr. India, completely invisible.
Samaira released a breath out of relief as she was finally out of Agnihotry Mansion or more specifically, She was out of the sight of a single person. Those onyx eyes always found their way to hers.
Diya, Rohan and Samaira sat on the couch and Samaira took a cushion and kept it on her lap while crossing her legs, she laid her back on the backrest of the couch and let her body entirely relax. On the other hand, Diya was anything but relaxed. She was turning anxious and was concerned. Her anxiousness didn't go unnoticed by Rohan as Diya always shakes her legs and fists her hands whenever she is anxious.
" Is the great Diya Sharma, to be Agnihotry, anxious?, Woah didn't know I would see such a sight " Rohan tried to calm her trying to crack a joke but Diya glared at him.
" You better Shut up, Rohan " Diya hissed and Samaira started laughing but her second glare landed straight on her little sister and resulted in the shutting up of her mouth.
Rohan sighed and rose up from his seat to sit beside Diya. He held her by her shoulder and motioned her to lean her head against his hard and warm chest and she did. Rohan was always there for Diya. He was her best friend and even though, Rohan was 3 years senior to her, they still managed to assemble their bond and the best thing is, they both trust each other.
" Don't think about that fucker, Dee " Rohan patted her arms as he side hugged her.
Diya released a breath of relief, trying to calm her unsteadily beating heart and she closed her eyes while leaning against her friend's shoulder. She imagined how he stood up and strode towards his bedroom, leaving everyone behind.
She was not worried about the way he left. Diya was worried because she could read his eyes and at that moment, Advait's eyes didn't hold anything but Anger and disapproval. He was not happy with this alliance.
" He was worried, Rohan " Diya mumbled under her breath and Rohan tightened his jaw. Rohan always knew that Diya has utmost feelings for his friend which can never be considered in a friendly way but he knew about Advait. He knows how he reacts to people he dislikes or the thing which is not under his control.
Rohan knew about his past and that was the reason he never encouraged Diya to confess her feelings for him or advised her to court him .
The thing is, Advait is a control freak and Diya is a free bird who does not know slavery. Servitude was nowhere to be found in her dictionary. She is as stern as Advait. Their character will clash against each other and that might be the cause of a cold war.
e say, opposite attracts and similar repels. The similarity between Advait and Diya was huge, their perceptions and the way of thinking was quite similar and that was the problem. Their similar attitude may clash against each other in the futures and Rohan knew about this fact.
Rohan was afraid of their similarity.
With a swift motion, Samaira rose from the couch and on the opposite side causing to sandwich Diya between her and Rohan. She leaned her head against Diya's shoulder.
" No one can go against someone's fate Dii and I believe, if you are fated with Advait Bhai, then you will be with him no matter what happens, it's cheezy but I'll still say that believe in your destiny" Samaira was consoling Diya like a worried Mama and Diya smiled. She removed her head which was leaning against Rohan's chest, a few seconds ago and gave a full hug to her little Sister.
" Thank you, Sam " Diya said as she stroked her sister's hair and patted her back in a slow rhythm.
" Don't think about it right now, Dee " Rohan further added to lift the weight of her heart that was suffocating Diya. Diya gave him a slight nod and went to the kitchen to make herself some good chai ( Tea).
Diya loved milktea and she preferred tea over coffee and maybe this was the only difference between Diya and Advait. Advait cannot process without his Coffee and the same goes for Diya with Tea.
She placed the Teapan and added some milk and sugar and was just about to reach for the tealeaves her Mother entered the kitchen.
She placed her hand on her shoulder and asked her
" Kya hua bachhe? "
( What happened child? )
" Nothing Mum, just tired " She said with a smile.
Divya just hummed at her words but further said the words she wanted to say.
" Advait is a good guy, He will keep you happy " Divya completed her words and soon enough her eyes were covered with warm mist.
" Oh ! My sentimental lovely Mother, " She mocked her and Divya gasped.
" My daughter is going to get married and you are making fun of it? " She faked her anger and said in a dramatic manner.
Diya still at her place. Reversing the words her mother just uttered in front of her.
" Married? You...are happy, No you are allowing, all of this ? " Diya questioned her mother.
" Of course, I like him "
" But...What if he is not happy with....this decision? It's not decided yet Mum, stop dreaming so early. His opinion matters...and why are you not asking about my decision? I can make a decision regarding this thing right? " Diya raised her brows and looked at her mother with curiosity.
" That's because I know my Daughter is jumping out of happiness right now, not externally but internally ? A big Yes, just like her answer to this Marriage " Divya smirked at her elder daughter.
On the other hand, Diya is redder than a Tomato right now. Warm flames covered her cheeks as she suppressed a smile from playing on her lips. She was about to say something but a deep voice interrupted them.
" Oh my Holy Fcuking God! Aunty, Did I saw that right? Diya is Blushing" Rohan was shocked as this was completely out of character for Diya. Diya never blushes around like a teenager as she is mainly composed and calm.
Divya laughed as she saw his reaction and he was still standing in the middle of the kitchen while gawking at Diya as if she was a ghost.
Diya ignored him not without giving him one of her death glares and she averted her attention to her mother.
" Mum, We still have to talk with Dad " She stated.
" Even though your father hates the thought of her elder princess being taken away by someone, He still appreciates Advait the most and I am sure he won't have any problem and If he will stll have some, I am here " Divya winked at Diya and made her way out of the kitchen.
Diya later averted her gaze to Rohan and was about to open her mouth, Rohan interrupted her.
" Chai pi le pehle warna tu puri junglee billi bann jaegi " Rohan mocked her as she completely forgot about the main reason she was in the kitchen
( Drink your Tea first or else you will completely act like a wildcat )
Diya rolled her eyes and later Samaira also joined both of them and they laughed at some stupid jokes and Rohan's antics.
As Diya was standing still, her phone buzzed for a second and it was a text from the most unexpected person.
Advait Agnihotry : I am ready, but before that we have something to talk about.
